Trey's Research
"The ability to reduce flooding on Sharkey clay soils is imperative for growers in the Delta. I study ways to irrigate corn effectively on these heavy clay soils. Conventional ways of furrow irrigation, such as every row or skip-row, produce too many risks associated with over-saturation. I work to find ways to space irrigation rows precisely in order to save growers time and increase farm profits."
